1. Tip One:

Pinches of color give the room even the slightest bit of appeal to your guests. All white room? Throw in a bright, yellow, pillow or a funky shaped lamp.

2. Tip Two:

One of the most important features in a home are the personal belongings and possessions. Have your guests feeling at home and almost bring them closer to you after they see a personal item of yours that catches their eye.

3. Tip Three:

You guys already know, but perfect lighting in all aspects is a must. I won't bore you to death with my rants about lighting but, lighting is crucial in any room.

4. Tip Four:

Accessorize and make the room your own! I like to think of what Tim Burton would do if he were to decorate a room? Whimsical decorations here and there are destined to have your guests falling in love.

5. Tip Five:

To me, Art is very important and people connect to art in many different ways. Surreal art or even just a simple child's painting, either way art grasps onto people's emotional side and can leave them connected.

6. Tip Six:

Create a story with color. You can never go wrong with color as long as you know how to mix it correctly. Have your guests asking why a room my be blue and why another is pink, keep them guessing.

7. Tip Seven:

Add Focal points! That odd vase you found your attic can be the star of the night. Don't second guess the importance of abnormal objects in your home.
